About Us
Kebbi State Project Implementation Unit
The Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) is a third generation rural access project. The project is being supported by the International Development Association (IDA), a subsidiary of the World Bank, and the L’Agence Française de Development (French Development Agency or AFD).
The lead agency of the Federal Government is the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD). The Federal Projects Management Unit (FPMU) under the FMARD is responsible for overall project coordination, implementation of federal level project activities and supervision of state level activities.

RAAMP Objective
The Project Development Objective (PDOs) of RAAMP project is to improve transport conditions and bring sustained access to the rural population through rehabilitating and maintaining key rural transport infrastructure in a sustainable manner in selected areas in Nigerian States.

Improve Rural Road Networks
Provision of rural access and transportation system that will facilitate the delivery of agricultural inputs and products.
Support agricultural marketing & logistics interventions
Strengthen the financing and institutional base for rural and state road networks, and support agro-logistics interventions to reduce post-harvest losses.
Strengthening Financial Base
Adopt better technology to scale up rural agricultural production, add value to increase prices of produce, generate youth employment, and reduce poverty and joblessness by enhancing productivity and production.
